Harshith S. Kotni

Writer - Director

Harshith Kotni is an Indian American Writer, Director, and Cinematographer. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, he grew up deeply connected to his Indian roots. Many of his films follow South Asian characters learning to navigate their worlds while holding on to their heritage. He wants to showcase his culture in all its different shapes and colors, show its vulnerabilities, and open people's perceptions of South Asians. He has also shot numerous music videos, commercial projects, and political campaigns. Alongside filmmaking, he studied theater for 2 and a half years at Ohlone College's award-winning theater program. Currently, he attends New York University's Tisch School of Arts.

Producer

Julie Xiaolan Zhao

Julie is a French-Chinese producer who has produced narrative and commercial projects in LA, Shanghai, and NYC. She is currently a Development Assistant at Mighty Oak, a women and queer-owned full-service animation company based in Brooklyn. Through film, she hopes to amplify Asian voices, expanding representation in front and behind the camera.

Revathi Suchita Kotni

Revathi is an accomplished Indian-American Production Manager who has worked on popular shows like "All Hail King Julien," "Boss Baby: Back in Business," "Fast and Furious Spy Racers" at Dreamworks TV, and Annie Award winner "Ghee Happy" at Netflix Animation. Revathi has been actively involved in her community and served as the Co-Chair for Women @ Netflix Animation and was a mentor for the Netflix Production Mentorship Program.

Cinematographer

Pengfei Song is an aspiring cinematographer, originally from Shenzhen, China. As a recent alumni of NYU Tisch, he chooses cinematography as his way of communicating and expressing the world in his eyes. He is interested in stories that are personal and can resonate with the viewers.

Editor

jacob boblitt

Jacob Boblitt is a filmmaker and editor located in New York City. When not playing DND or generally being a nerd, Jacob works as a freelance video editor. Some of his editing credits include Marvin is Sorry (SXSW 2024 selection). From his experience working on a variety of documentary and narrative productions, Jacob has come to see editing as an intricate puzzle where there is always a solution.

Composer

marwan ramen

Marwan is a NY-based, Malaysian Screen Scorer and multi-instrumentalist that focuses on creating scores that incorporate live performance. He graduated from NYU with a bachelor's in music theory and composition, and a concentration in Screen Scoring under the tutelage of John Kaefer, Irwin Fisch, Jamie Lawrence, and Chris Hajian. He has an interest in supporting Asian diasporic storytelling and incorporating non-eurocentric theory and instrumentation.

Casting Director

Kealani kitaura

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Kealani graduated from UC Davis majoring in Art Studio with an emphasis in experimental video art. She worked for the US Geological Survey as a documentary editor, moved to Japan for two years, and returned to purse producing and acting. She manages Tiny Rabbit Productions, a group of highly talented and passionate filmmakers working to tell meaningful stories.
